Clay sourced only from Victoria & Tasmania, we seek inspiration from age-old European and Japanese construction techniques, especially the wabi-sabi (侘び寂び) approach to elegant yet rustic design.
Available in two earthy textures - rustic smooth and rustic - and in 6 standard tones influenced by our own natural backyard and the raw materials themselves.

‘Addis’ reflects the sandstone clifftops of our coastline whilst ‘Lorne’ is the verdant temperate rain forests. Tasmanian ‘Natural White’ lets the raw materials speak for themselves.

Ot Clay Paint

In 2024 we introduced Ot Clay paint to complement our locally made Ot Clay range of natural clay plaster. We have partnered with a world leading German manufacturer to develop an easy to apply and sustainable clay based option, suitable for Australian conditions. Our friends have been leading the way in clay paint for over 30 years.

The paint contains a high proportion of natural earthen clay allowing the benefits of clay plaster in a paint finish. Clay paint filters pollutants and manages moisture within the room. In fact, 40m2 of Ot Clay paint will store a massive 2.4lt of water and then release it back into the atmosphere slowly. This ability to ‘breathe’ helps prevent condensation and therefore mould.

Available in 106 curated matte colours in either standard matte or textured finish. Our paint is VOC free and uniquely ‘of the land.’
